Emma sat on her hoverboard. She jumped as Coltin disapeared. She slipped off her hoverboard, startled. Her crash bracelets bounced her upwards, then swung her onto the hoverboard with the aid of Leam. She blinked, thinking she had imagined the whole thing. Then she rode her hoverboard to her dorm, where she lay down on the bed to check her pings before she fell asleep.

Miren's hoverboard stopped right outside of the half-open window and she climbed off and into the window, the board floating behind her. She appeared in the frame and slid stealthily through the half-slit window and crawled to her bed. "Hello again, Emma." she whispered calmly, though her heart was beating wildly in her chest. Her eyescreen notified her of no new pings and she sighed. No one ever contacted her.

"Got any pings?" Miren asked, looking curiously at her. Her brown hair hung straight from her head and she smiled thoughtfully at Emma. She was prepared to make any up if Emma had gotten a ton.

Miren nodded, thinking about the feed she had posted earlier in the day. She wondered why it had crashed so suddenly, and a shiver teared down her spine as the thoughts tumbled around in her head.

Emma reached for the bedside table, picking out a new nail polish. She began painting her toes a light, rosy pink coral color. She smiled as she picked out a few other colors and made a marbled look on her toes.

Miren rolled her eyes but laughed slightly, reaching over to grab two of Emma's colors. The two she grabbed were a nice blue hue and a cool green. She started to paint her fingernails and alternated the colors. Then she did the same thing on her toes. "You know, Ems, if it weren't for you I wouldn't have even known what nail polish was. Let alone how to use it." she said, laughing easily as she finished her last toe.

"Glad you learned something." She said sarcastically, emphasising the something. Emma laughed too, then stopped. "What was that?" She asked, getting up off the bed. She looked out the window only to see a branch tapping the window. She rolled her eyes as she flopped down on the bed. "Tree branch." She said, mocking the tapping noise.

Miren rolled her eyes at Emma. "Why are you so jumpy?" she asked, looking at her through squinted eyes. "Are you sure it isn't Ricky?" Miren asked Emma, getting up to fully open the window. A gust of cold air hit her hard and she shivered, moving back to her bed.

"It's just... I'm worried for Ricky." She admitted, looking down at her nails. "She doesn't really know when to stop, like with the boys dorm." She said, not really knowing if Miren would know what she was talking about.
